My name is Kevin Burkart.
I'm running for mayor of my hometown of Prior Lake, Minnesota.
My wife Laura and I grew up
in Prior Lake.
We both attended Prior Lake Public Schools from kindergarten to graduation.
Our children will do the same.

After graduating from PLHS Laura attended Winona State and I attended St. Cloud State.
​
​We have three children: Finn (6), Grace (4) and Lilly (2). Finn graduated from kindergarten at Westwood Elementary this past spring. It is so special as both Laura and I attended Westwood.

1996 founded StepStoneGroup, a local web and marketing company, grew to a multi-million dollar agency gainfully employing 12, exited at the age of 45 and semi-retired
